Abiding by the organization’s motto “Humane For All,” BMDC aims to improve the quality of life and school retention of orphans and vulnerable children through the provision of scholastic materials.

Anike Foundation Partners with ABC4All Sierra Leone to Support Ebola-Affected Children.

Anike Foundation’s President, Dr. Segun Ige, was interviewed as a featured guest on Boston station WROL’s radio show “Around Town.” Dr. Ige shared with listeners his motivation for starting Anike Foundation, particularly the inspiration of his mother in supporting him in his own educational pursuits. Listeners had the opportunity to learn more about Anike Foundation’s mission.

In 2014, Anike Foundation partnered with Shalom Centre to provide support to at-risk orphans and vulnerable children in the Ngaramtoni slum of Tanzania’s Arusha region.

Anike Foundation partnered with a Ugandan NGO, Training Women in Rural Uganda (TORUWU), to purchase and deliver scholastic supplies to a local school. Anike Foundation provided funds to purchased pens, pencils, exercise books, geometry sets, atlases, drawing sheets, markers and other school supplies and deliver them to 46 students, nearly half of St. Mary’s Junior School’s total enrollment.
