Partnership with Free Education and Reading Group

Anike Foundation is partnering with Free Education and Reading Group (FERG), Ghana, in “F.E.R.G VOLTA TECHNOLOGY AID PROJECT Community/School Computer Literacy Program.” A proposed technology center would provide computer skill education in the rural communities in the Volta region of Ghana. The Volta region is made up of about 3,000,000 in population and has about 26 administrative districts. The proposed center would be able to enroll at least 500 students and participants per year. Implementation of the first phase of the project began in March 2010 with our first shipment of computers, laptops and other study tools to FERG, Ghana.
